New online shoe retail outlet Sarenza is bringing their inimitable High Heel Race to British shores for the first time ever. The annual event is renowned and revered in France with hotly disputed heats across the length and breadth of the country

This year, to celebrate the launch of Sarenza.co.uk, the battle will be international, with 16 French teams facing 16 English teams. The brand is throwing down the gauntlet to the British Fashion pack, by inviting them to get hot on their heels and show their French rivals that the Brits can not only out-dress them, but can out-run them too.

British races will be running for the ultimate prize of £2,500 worth of shoes from Sarenza. At the London heat, girls will don Sarenza heels and compete as individuals as they race along the bespoke 15m pink Sarenza track. The four fastest competitors of the day then select their two stealthiest friends to join them and make a team of 3 girls for the final.
