Feminine, masculine, sex and frivolity sit side-by-side in the autumn/winter 12-13 collection for Givenchy by creative director Riccardo Tisci.

Drawing inspiration from the 70s, horse-riding and the sexuality and frivolity of French photographer Guy Bourdin’s aesthetics, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci delivered a play on the feminine and masculine for autumn/winter 2012-13. Mixing black with a rich colour palette of brown, chocolate, purple, green, red, pink and orange, the collection was dark and decadent with leather, velvet and lace in abundance.
