Prada S/S 2012 video

Miuccia Prada is one of a handful of designers who sets the trends each season and where she leads, we all follow (remember Anna Wintour's banana print skirt? Yep, that was Prada.) So if Miuccia says '50s Americana is big for Spring/Summer 2012, we better pay attention.

She sent models down the catwalk in hot rod heels, ice cream colours and retro shades and the video to launch the new campaign continues the theme. Shot by Steven Meisel, the hyper real clip is set in that quintissentially American location, the gas station, with beautiful vintage American gars and petrol pumps providing the background for the models. It's pure fashion fantasy and has us longing for sunny days, open top cars and yes, a little bit of Prada in our wardrobes...
