Olympic gold-medalist Rebecca Adlington has married the "love of her life" in a ceremony in Staffordshire.
The 25-year-old married fellow swimmer Harry Weeks at The Ashes - a beautiful barn wedding venue.
Rebecca wore a white gown by Stewart Parvin, who is also the Queen's dress maker, which had a detailed corseted top with lace straps and a flowing, floor-length skirt underneath.
The bride also wore a floor-length veil, with her blonde hair tied back in a low bun. She finished off the look by accessorising with a pair of stunning silver and blue earrings. The groom looked dapper in a blue three-piece suit and a purple tie.
Rebecca, who won two golds at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and two bronzes at London 2012, also discussed her recent weight loss.
"I don’t like it when people assume you’re really happy because you’re thin. I’m not suddenly confident because I have lost weight, I’m happy because I’m marrying the love of my life."
The athlete, who retired from professional swimming in 2013, also shared details of the couple's intimate day with Hello! magazine:
"The ceremony was so personal, which was exactly what we wanted. I love the fact Harry was in bits before I even reached him. I was a bit nervous in the car on the way here with my dad, but as soon as I walked in, my nerves melted and I relaxed."
Rebecca's new husband also revealed his feelings about his new bride: "I compliment her every single day, because to me she is the most beautiful woman in the world."
The couple got engaged in March last year when Harry presented Rebecca with a diamond ring.
Earlier on today, Rebecca shared a sweet photo of her and her new husband on her Instagram page.
