The most gorgeous and must-have pieces from the Balmain X H&M collaboration

Wish lists at the ready; in just a fortnight, Balmania will be upon us.

When we found out that the eleventh H&M designer collab was going to be with the iconic French fashion house, we could hardly contain our excitement.

Since then, we’ve been treated to some sneak-peeks of the collection - back in May when Jenner and Dunn wore pieces to the Billboard Music Awards and the official advertising campaign with Gigi Hadid last month - and now we can finally see the entire collection in all its skin tight glory.

As expected, the collection features garments with complex embroidery, lashings of whipstitching, dazzling embellishments and sequins a plenty.

In just under two weeks, you’ll be able to buy yourself an iconic tailored Balmain jacket (a genuine one will set you back over a grand), Beetlejuice trousers (if you can get past the Robin Thicke or Footlocker aesthetic) or a leather biker jacket.

Prices are undeniably steep for high street, but pieces are made from genuine luxurious leather and suede and possess all the detailing of a Balmain original. However, there are pieces to suit the tighter budget such as the Balmain logo tee which is almost identical to the original.

Speaking about the collection back in May, Balmain Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, said "the collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it.”

“H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain,” he said.

Here, we select our must-have pieces from the collection, from stand-out sequin numbers to Stylist.co.uk favourite, the thigh-high suede boots.

The full price list has also been revealed, so you can prepare your plan of action for the big day (think Monica and Rachel with whistles).

The full collection will be released online and in store on 5 November.
