Madewell has signed Solange Knowles to be the new face of its autumn/winter 2012 fashion campaign.
Famed for her eclectic style - as well as being Beyoncé Knowles’ little sis – singer and DJ Solange was snapped up by Madewell to front its Mix Well: Madewell campaign, which is based on the concept of mixing and matching.
To celebrate Solange’s signing, Madewell has released an exclusive behind-the-scenes film of Knowles modelling the US brand’s casual-cool autumn/winter clothing line, (watch it below).
Described by Madewell as being “ever-so-stylish”, Solange joins Alexa Chung as an ambassador for the brand, which is owned by American clothing giant J.Crew. However, we are yet to see if Knowles will follow completely in Alexa Chung’s footsteps and design her own Madewell fashion range.
