Supermodel Edie Campbell is now a fully qualified trucker

She's one of fashion's favourite models, opening shows for the likes of Burberry, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Hermès.

And now Edie Campbell is also a fully qualified truck driver.

Nevermind her teasing caption, the 26-year-old is not really about to trade in a top flight career in high fashion to hit the open road in Heavy Goods Vehicles.

Her HGV licence is, according to The Daily Mail, a means of allowing the accomplished equestrian to transport her beloved horses Dolly, Tinkerbell and Armani to competitions, as horse boxes weigh up to 7.5 tonnes.

The art history graduate recently told the Evening Standard the animals are "like three posh kids" and her "biggest extravagance".

"They have swimming lessons; they have massages; they’re divas. They need special medication and injections in their ankles. It’s all very, very expensive."
