Taylor Swift's style evolution

Like most people, we've had an unhealthy obsession with Taylor Swift's new album 1989 for the past couple of months. And it's not just her music we've got a new found obsession with! Of late Taylor has become one of our favourite dressers both on and off the red carpet. 

With this new album has come a slicker, more grown-up look that shows the star has come into her own both musically and sartorially. She's even said goodbye to her trademark blonde curls in favour of a sleek bob that's so on trend. 

But this wasn't always the case. Ever since Taylor's been on the music scene, when she released her debut album Taylor Swift in 2006 aged just 17, she has regularly opted for sweet short dresses and over-the-top sequinned gowns. While they definitely had their place, now at 25, the star opts for block colours and simpler, elegant fits.
