Team GB’s Perri Shakes-Drayton may be yet to run the 400m Olympic hurdles, however she already has victory in her hands thanks to Nike’s new Zoom Victory Elite trainers.

Designed exclusively for the Olympic hopeful to wear in her 400m hurdle race on Sunday, Shakes-Drayton’s Nike Zoom Victory Elite trainers form part of a new Nike and Liberty department store collection.

Part of the ongoing collaboration between the two brands, the latest Nike x Liberty range includes heritage styles, like the Dunk and Air Max, as well as a second track spike trainer: the Nike Zoom JA Fly, which has been specifically designed for Nike’s elite track sprinters.

While Shakes-Drayton will be hard to miss in her luminous yellow beauties, which combine ground-breaking design with Liberty’s delicate Mirabelle heritage floral print, first introduced back in 1960, we’ll make do with wearing old-school Nike x Liberty dunks while – fingers crossed – watching her storm to victory on Sunday.
