The Met Gala 2011

Last night (Sunday 2 May), the Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted its annual Costume Institute benefit. The event marked the opening of Savage Beauty, an exhibit of Alexander McQueen's iconic designs, and guests including Sarah Burton, the creative director of Alexander McQueen and designer of Kate Middleton's wedding dress, as well as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Christina Hendricks, Alexa Chung and Sarah Jessica Parker.
