The Perfect Dress

The party season is upon us, which means it’s time to find that perfect evening dress that will see you through occasions from office Christmas parties to New Years’ celebrations, and beyond.

A Karen Millen dress is a wardrobe essential. With a timeless quality that transcend seasons while encapsulating new trends, each one is designed to become a cherished staple. Inspired by gothic fairytails, dark glamour is focus for the season, with winter florals, dramatic night shades and textural layers of black. From embellished cocktail dresses to more subtle metallic baroque, the winter range is all about controlled excess.

The black lace tutu dress is the pick of the bunch for Stylist.co.uk’s editor, Anna Fielding. She says: “This is a great party dress for picking up on this winter’s dark romance trend and the shaped bodice is flattering.” She also covets the sequin fringe dress, saying: “I like the clean lines and simple shape of this one. The metallic effect gives it some oomph and stops things being too minimal.”

The latest collection features an array of flattering shapes in luxury fabrics and with rich embellishment and bold prints, each dress is crafted with Karen Millen’s impeccable attention to detail. Can’t decide which is your favourite? The brand’s accessible prices make it easy to invest in more than one...
