The ultimate 90’s revival: FCUK is bringing back its classic slogan tees

fcuk tee.jpg

When it comes to nineties nostalgia, 2016 has so far been nothing short of a delight.

We're only three weeks in but already we have the return of the slip dress (think Cher being a total betty in her Calvin Klein slip in Clueless) along with tracksuits (hiya, Sporty Spice) and even mules (Gwyneth Paltrow wore them on the red carpet back in the day).

As if this wasn't enough, we just heard the news that our ultimate nineties staple is due to make a comeback.

Prepare to sharpen your elbows and make a beeline for French Connection next month, when their FCUK tees will be on sale once again.

The definitive wardrobe staple of all rebellious nineties gals, the FCUK tees had cheeky slogans such as "the best FCUK ever" and "too busy to FCUK". They came in a variety of rainbow colours and one stylist.co.uk staffer (who shall remain nameless) even had a baby pink version with fluffy blue writing that she paired with stonewashed jeans and a matching denim jacket.

The tees, priced from £20, will be part of French Connection's Spring Summer campaign, which launches in shops mid-February and has a whole focus around nineties fashion - think bucket bags and plaid shirts.

Joyfully, the current nineties revival doesn't end with just fashion. From the new Absolutely Fabulous film to the rumoured Friends reunion, we're hoping to be able to tick all 60 of these nostalgic wonders off our list by the time 2017 rolls around.

Tamagotchis and stick-on earrings, anyone?
