Well, when we say basics, the custom-made ring winning hearts on the internet still costs thousands, but style-wise, it’s a classic design.

The most popular ring on the wedding planner’s playground that is Pinterest is a rose gold solitaire that has been saved more than 103,000 times:

It’s not available in any jewellers as it was custom-made for its owner Sylvia Billone.

“The solitaire ring is 1.22 karats with a two-millimeter-width rose gold band,” Billone told The Sun, while declining to reveal its price.

The clean-cut style is a world away from the ornate Raymond Lee sparkler that came in as Pinterest’s most popular engagement ring in 2016:

‘Verragio Venetian’ ring.

Last year's most wanted was the Verragio Venetian ring

The Verragio Venetian ring is an 18-karat white gold princess cut piece by US jewellers Raymond Lee and would set proposers back $4,300 (£3,360).
