Topshop is launching its own range of wedding dresses

Weddings are, as a rule, expensive; from the venue to the booze, brides have to tot up a lot of numbers as they approach their nuptials – which is why high-street alternatives to eye-watering designer bridal gowns are so popular.

From Whistles to ASOS, plenty of high street stores have already launched their own affordable (yet stylish) wedding collections.

And now Topshop have jumped on the matrimonial bandwagon.

At the moment, very little is known about the capsule collection. In fact, only one campaign image has been released – and it hints at a vintage-inspired collection.

In the shot, Victoria’s Secret model Grace Elizabeth can be seen wearing a dusky pink satin gown, with ruched shoulder detailing, a deep V-neck, and embroidered floral detailing to the waist.

A tiered tulle veil, in the same soft pink tones, finishes the look.

The “fashion-led” collection – which will land in stores this April – will feature five different wedding dresses, with prices starting at £350.

Topshop has confirmed that they will also be unveiling a wider selection of bridesmaid frocks from as little as £85, as well as a wide range of accessories and lingerie for the big day, too.

If you’d like to be amongst the first to know when the collection is available online, then be sure to visit their website and sign up to the mailing list.
