Less is more for autumn/winter 2011
This season minimalism gets seriously luxurious with silk, cashmere and leather taking centre stage. Reader Elizabeth Young picks the best pieces for autumn.
Of the trend, Elizabeth says: "“Clean cuts, classic lines and undeniable elegance have seen a return to style this season. I was drawn to this trend of new minimalism because I adore the elegant and pared-back aesthetic which I instantly associate with Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn. My favourite piece from the story is the By Malene Birger hybrid coat with leather panelling. It’s such a great investment piece for your winter wardrobe."
