This Saturday the long awaited capsule collection by legendary designer Valentino is unveiled on the high street
Gap and Valentino. One has made a name for its classic American sportswear and the other is renowned for age-old Italian glamour. Perhaps not the most obvious of pairings but with news of their collaboration, in stores 27 November, certainly this year’s most exciting. The partnership announces Gap’s new store openings in Milan and Rome and the collection signifies their arrival with aplomb.
The collaboration fuses Valentino’s signature elegance with Gap’s famed khaki separates and is a neatly edited seven-piece collection marrying function with femininity. Expect to find slouchy cargo pants, a bow detailed skirt, draped heather grey t-shirt, a parka – re-imagined in three different ways: jacket, long length and cropped – and a hoodie, all trimmed with varying sizes of Valentino’s legendary ruffles and frills.
Available in Gap’s London flagship store and Dover Street Market, this is one fashion collection we’re not going to miss out on.
