It’s been a busy few days for the Beckham household – fresh after news of Romeo Cruz’s modelling debut for Burberry, we’ve just heard that Victoria Beckham is to launch an e-commerce site.
Set to launch to Spring 2013, the new victoriabeckham.com site (which is currently under construction) will introduce e commerce for the very first time in the company’s history. A departure from the previous layout, which was more of an online lookbook for the designer’s previous collections, the site will feature Victoria’s personal edit across four existing Victoria Beckham SS 13 collections: accessories, eyewear, denim and the newest line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham.

Initially launching to the UK, USA and Europe, there will be a focus on “customer experience”, with a simple, streamlined design and insightful content offering access to Victoria’s ideas and creative process.
Victoria said her new website “has been in the making for a very long time” and added; “It was so important that the concept, tone and look of it were true to me and my aesthetic and that the shopping experience was the very best that it could be for my customer. The site will be ever evolving featuring never seen before insights into my world through the medium of film. I'm incredibly excited with what I have created and the unique access to the brand I am now able to offer”
