We don’t just love French fashion house Lanvin for their gorgeous evening gowns, fun accessories (playing cards, anyone?) and for having cuddly fashion genius Alber Ebaz at the helm. They also make offbeat fashion videos for their advertising campaigns.

Following on from this hilarious Pitbull sound-tracked creation, comes the accompanying video to Lanvin’s Autumn/Winter adverts, produced to celebrate Alber’s ten years at the brand.

This innovative campaign, which shows a refreshingly eclectic mix of non-models wearing the new collection, caused a stir when it was first released – with the fashion world fascinated by these unknown campaign stars.

So Lanvin have decided to personally introduce us to each and every one, in this beautifully shot behind-the-scenes film by Stephen Meisel.

Aged from 18 to 81, each model reveals an anecdote about themselves in this video, and they’re all pleasingly eccentric characters – from the fabulous former cabaret dancer from Harlem who dreams of going to Paris, to a retro-styled pin up with Bettie Page hair who collects salt and pepper shakers and a man obsessed with frozen blueberries.

Watch them all in the video below and scroll down for more campaign shots.
