Actress Blake Lively has opened up about her life with new husband Ryan Reynolds and her beloved new dog in a new interview with US Vogue.

Blake was challenged to answer 74 questions in less than 7 minutes by the magazine, and rose to the occasion.

Wearing an incredible white jacket, with a bodycon dress, and shoes that in her own words “look like ever-lasting gobstoppers”, she reveals plenty about her personal life.

The Gossip Girl star reveals that her favourite things ever are pianos, her favourite season is autumn and she likes surprises.

And speaking of surprises, she sweetly reveals that the best one she's ever given to someone else is a collection of short stories written by loved ones for her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who she married in September 2012.

On the important subject of whether or not she prefers cake or pie, Blake is a woman after our own hearts and opts for cakes.

As she talks about her new company, lifestyle website Preserve, she proceeds to take off her shoes, which are of course, Louboutins – flashing the red soles as she places them delicately on the floor.

She then heads over to the kitchen where she takes out a load of ready-to-decorate cupcakes. Apparently, Blake is such a fan of cooking and baking herself, that Ryan has taken to calling their kitchen the Blakery. How cute is that?

Food-wise, her favourite condiment is mayonnaise (you can't tell) and her favourite brunch is eggs benedict - the only respectable response in our humble opinions.

But perhaps our favourite answer is to the question: who is your favourite superhero? to which she replies the Green Lantern. For anyone who doesn't know, Ryan Reynolds played the Green Lantern.

With that, she's out the door.
