Victoria Beckham on empowering women and striking a balance

We've already seen Victoria Beckham looking incredible on the cover of this month's Vogue but now we've got the chance to take a look at the shoot with this behind-the-scenes video.

In the shoot, VB embraces a more casual style and we can see her donning a pair of wellies along with a dash of tweed (whatto!)

Despite this, she looks effortlessly elegant and beautiful as always but with a very English rose twist. The idea was to make her play a different character - very different from her usual pared back and chic look.

The fashion designer is even seen frolicking in a garden holding various plants, a dog and a one point she even does a jog with a wheelbarrow. But of course she looks nothing other than utterly graceful while doing said jog. A feat we'd quite like to master ourselves.

During the video, Victoria talks about her love of clothes and watching her mother getting ready.

“My earliest childhood memories is sitting on her bed and watching her. She always looked fabulous.”

Of course, her love of fashion then translated itself to designing them years later with her eponymous label, which has seen the likes of Eva Longoria, Kate Winslet, and Rachel Weisz wear her clothes.

“When designing clothes I want to empower women. I want to make them feel strong and beautiful. And confident.”

Clearly, VB’s been very busy, not only opening up an office in New York but she’s also got plans for a store in London: “it will hopefully be opening in September in Dover Street in London.”

Although she admits it’s hard “juggling work, the kids and David”.

Her and husband David Beckham recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary and to celebrate she shared this intimate snap of the two of them on their wedding day.
