The Stylist wedding blog: The top 10 alternative bridal dress shops

logo

In my previous blog post, I described my awful dress shopping experience. Now, having secured my dream dress, I'm hoping to help other brides-to-be escape the same ordeal and to prove that, once you know where to look, shopping for a gown can be a pleasure - not a chore.

From 1920s-inspired flapper dresses to vintage Oxfam gems, there are myriad places you can find a unique wedding dress these days. With that in mind, here's my pick of the top 10 bridal boutiques to help you in your search for 'the one'.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, so please post your comments below, or on Twitter @stylistmagazine and @natashatomalin, using the hashtag #Stylistweddingblog.
