You know that particularly annoying moment when you spot someone on the street, or on Instagram, wearing an amazing piece of clothing, but you have no idea where it came from?
If you find yourself frequently chasing stylish people down the street, or your phone memory is rammed full of screenshots of desirable shoes, Google has a more workable solution. The search engine is launching a new service, called Shop the Look, which allows you to purchase the identical items worn by some of the world's top fashion bloggers.
Like a Shazam for clothes, Shop the Look takes your query - such as "pinstriped trousers" - and hunts through social media to pull together a list of fashionable influencers who have recently worn pinstriped trousers.
You can then flick through these options and choose your favourite look, which Google will then comb the internet for, providing shop-able pieces and accessories that are identical (or nearly identical) to the ones you want. The service was created in association with Reward Style's shopping platform LIKEtoKNOW.it, which is already being used by bloggers to show their audience where to shop for their clothes.
Take a look below to see how it works and keep your eyes peeled for the UK launch, coming soon.
