When Bram Stoker penned his 1897 Gothic novel Dracula about an ancient mythical demon that exists by sucking the blood of innocent humans, "sexy" may not have been the direction he saw his villain headed.
Yet almost 100 years on from the writer’s death, the perennial allure of the vampire’s bite is evident in hit books, movies and TV shows centered around the fang-wielding immortal demon.
