The most awarded female singer of all time, Whitney Houston was known simply as "The Voice" at the peak of her fame, and her exceptional talent inspired many of the world's most famous female acts today.
Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera are among the divas who have credited Houston's influence, with Carey once proclaiming, "I believe that all girls who aspire to sing have looked up to Whitney Houston."
