An all-avocado restaurant is coming to London boasting a FIVE-course avo menu. Yep, that's right

What goes up, must come down. And so avocado's much-Instagrammed rise to brunch fame has its naysayers, grumbling about how they knew avocado before it got big and lining up to step disdainfully off the sourdough toast bandwagon.

But the fans still outweigh the doubters, rejoicing in the healthy-yet-indulgently-creamy taste and its glorious contrast with sharp lemon and crunchy toast, and now our – sorry, we mean their – prayers have been answered in a London restaurant devoted to the all-conquering fruit.

Yep, that's right: a whole five-course meal plus a cocktail, all avocado. The Avo-Brunch Pop-Up menu, which you can see in full below, promises dish after dish containing avocado, from your first sip of an Avocado Margarita to your last bite of an avocado macaron.

And what is so wrong with this all of a sudden, hmm?

The restaurant, run by pop-up agency Meredith Collective, will be in Clerkenwell's Printworks Kitchen and runs for two Sundays only: April 10 and May 8. Tickets cost £55 (click here and then click on the massive avocado, obviously) and everyone who attends will even receive a grow-your-own-avocado kit to take home.

Take a look at the menu below.
