We want everything from this new high-street Disney collaboration

Looking for your daily dose of animated joy? Well look no further, as two of the most adorable brands you could imagine have come together for a truly sweet collection.

Cath Kidston and Disney have joined forces to create a whimsical range of Peter Pan-themed goodies, with products covering all bases from fashion to homeware.

Launching officially on 22 September, the magical collection will feature all of our favourite faces from the much-loved tale including the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell, the Darlings and of course, Pan himself.

And products include pixie dust-scattered prints based on original illustrations from the 1953 Disney animation sourced by the label’s in-house design team, as well as crockery, bags, dresses and more.

True Peter Pan fans will be happy to know that every detail of the collaboration has considered carefully, such as the reference to how many of Pan and the gang’s adventures happen in the night’s sky meaning that midnight blue colour scheme and beautiful star motifs have been worked into many of the designs.

London’s iconic monuments also take centre stage in parts of the collection, with Cath Kidston’s classic London print being reworked to include the Disney characters.

For us, stand-out pieces have to be those that star the straight-talking and sassy Tinkerbell. This little lady has been reimagined in a beautiful sketched design, with a posy of pink and purple blooms which appears on a line of crockery and a cushion.

Although nearly half of the collaboration covers children’s clothing, there’s no shortage of gorgeous pieces for adults, including a sparkling phone case, tote bag, stationery, homeware and a white collared shirt-of-dreams.

This isn’t the first time Cath Kidston and Disney have come together, having produced a 101 Dalmatians themed collection earlier this year – and if its success is anything to go by, we think the Peter Pan lines will be a big hit.

Happy shopping.
