Aren't they precious?


They say all newborn babies look like Winston Churchill. A newborn parrot, on the other hand, looks like an unfortunate hybrid of ET and Honey Boo Boo.

These baby parrots are on sale in Dimapur, India, after they were captured in a forest by a local hunter.

There's no proof they were abandoned by their mother.

They're being looked after by their surrogate parents, who are feeding them by hand.

And as they emerge from those awkward early years, the Indian parrots do show signs of turning into the exotic, camera-friendly creatures we all coo over:
