The very best of Cature

Feline fashion causes a stir

Forget Dior or Chanel, these bald moggies know exactly where it's at in the style stakes...

The superior-looking felines - named Smeagol and Zizzles - are reclaiming their place in the fashion world, by modelling the very latest in cutting-edge cature.

Granted, they don't have Gisele Bundchen's legs or Lily Cole's flaming locks: but their wrinkled, raw look is a sartorial statement of its own.

The cats belong to 38-year-old make-up artist Melanie Manson, who has given up her job to design clothes for hairless kitties.

She was inspired into action after seeing her friends continually freaked out at the sight of her two bald cats.

Pieces in the line include pink sundresses, a kitty beanie, nautical sailor suits and sweatshirts - all retailing at around £30 each.

Get a sneak preview of the collection, below. They don't call it the catwalk for nothing...
