Dale Farm eviction in photos

Violent clashes are continuing for a second day running at Dale Farm in Essex, where police are attempting to disband Britain's biggest illegal travellers' camp. Bailiffs and officers dressed in full riot gear stormed the site in a 7am raid yesterday (19 October), coming face to face with residents and protesters. Demonstrators threw rocks and cups of urine at officers, who in turn came under fire for heavy-handed tactics, including the use of taser guns. To date, 34 people have been arrested as the forced eviction continues. A caravan has also been set alight. See all the latest photos from the eviction in our gallery, below.
