“Don't pass out!” Grooms share what they’re thinking about when their bride walks down the aisle

Big smiles, sweaty palms and the occasional rocking back and forth – we've all seen a groom nervously await his bride's entrance on their wedding day.

But if only we could get inside their brains and listen to the dialogue that's running through their head. 

From trying to hold back the tears to feeling bemused at his future wife's strange prance, husbands across the internet are sharing the fascinating and rather amusing stories of what they were thinking about the moment their partner walked down the aisle. 

It started when one Reddit user posed the question: “What were you honestly thinking when your wife was walking down the aisle towards you during your wedding?”

It was speedily followed by hundreds and then thousands of comments from fellow users.
