Some of us start with the best intentions – spring clean the house, get in some exercise and spend the weekend re-energising. The rest of us embrace the fact that the weekend ahead will be spent catching up with lots of friends and family, where we’ll indulge in lots of food, copious amounts of wine and, naturally, Easter eggs big and small.

Roll on Monday evening and we start to wonder where the weekend went and why we can’t have just one more day to recover. We understand. So in anticipation of that fateful Monday, here are some of the best Instagrammers and Pinterest boards that will get you inspired and kick start the post-Easter health kick you’ll be craving.

Food

Deliciously Ella

One of the most exciting food bloggers out there, Ella Woodward was suffering from a rare illness that left her mostly bed-bound and in constant pain, when she decided to try overhauling her diet. The 22-year-old embraced a fully vegan lifestyle and gave up refined sugar, gluten, dairy, processed food and meat.

Within weeks she was on the road to recovery, and the blog which she started has turned into an app which shot to the top of the iTunes chart, more than 100,000 followers on Instagram and a book deal. Her recipes are inspiring and beautifully shot – try one of her many rainbow salad bowls and her sweet potato brownies!

Hemsley and Hemsley

This sister chef duo make whole, organic, nutritious food, that is grain-free, gluten-free and sugar-free. On their Pinterest page you’ll find recipes of their own, and ones that have inspired them. They love a good seasonal Pin board so if you want to get some fab summer recipes check it out. They’ve got a book coming out this summer too called ‘The Art of Eating Well’, so keep your eyes peeled.

Fitness

Fitness on Toast

This Swedish personal trainer originally started her blog for her clients, but it soon took on a life of its own. Faya resides in West London and started her blog in 2013. On her Pinterest and Instagram pages she celebrates of all things health, fitness and fashion and named her blog after realising how many types of food Brits have on toast.

Under Armour Women

Combining fitness, fashion, inspiration, athletes and real women, this Instagram profile will leave you feeling empowered. Sometimes we need reminding of what our bodies are capable of, and Under Armour Women’s #IWill campaign is just one of the ways it encourages followers to take control of their health and wellbeing.

Wellbeing

The Healthy Psychologist

This Instagrammer pairs delicious, energizing food with inspiring quotes and snaps of her cute dogs. What’s not to love? A registered psychologist, holistic health practitioner and nutrition enthusiast rolled into one.

REI

Set up by the outdoor gear company of the same name, this Instagram page will have you leaping out of bed to go outside and enjoy the great outdoors. The beautiful photography reminds us of just what an amazing world we live in, and will have you turning off the TV, craving a hike, surfing, mountain biking and adventure.
