We don't know about you but we're still struggling to get up in the mornings. While we might be going to bed earlier (no more parties post-Christmas for us), we're still hitting snooze much more frequently than we'd like.

Thankfully, we've discovered this brilliant infographic which shows you how to wake up early. Created by website Business Insider, the illustration compiles nine key points that will aid you in getting up better in the mornings, and also a quality night's sleep.

Before going to bed, it's important to relax half an hour before nodding off. It's suggested that you read a book to calm your mind. If you need any suggestions, we have a list of all the must-read books for 2015.

While we all love having that glass of wine before hitting the sack, it's vitally important that you don't drink alcohol or eat anything right before as it can cause heartburn.

Another tip will come as no surprise; put your phone or tablet away. Digitally unplugging is imperative for a good night's slumber. Here are 10 ways on how you can digitally detox if you feel that it's affecting your life.

Finally, one of our favourite suggestions is that you have a decent breakfast. Our ultimate healthy breakfasts recipes should help you out with that one.

Take a look at the rest of the points in the infographic below
