Day One in the Big Brother house and Kate and Wills are relaxing in the garden area - or so these pictures would lead you to believe.

However, look a little closer and it becomes apparent that the snaps are a tad misleading. They are, in fact, mock-up images - the work of spoof artist Alison Jackson, famed for her satirical, paparazzi-style photos of famous faces.

With a new series of Celebrity Big Brother starting on Channel 5 last night (18 August), Jackson marked the occasion by shooting lookalikes of the royal newlyweds lounging around the house in a variety of intimate poses. 'Kate' and her husband are seen getting affectionate in the garden, getting ready for bed, putting on the marigolds for a spot of washing up, relaxing in the bath and making use of the pool.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be down-to-earth types who enjoy mingling with the public, we think them actually entering the realms of reality TV is unlikely to happen anytime soon. We can only imagine what the royal couple would make of the likes of Tara Reid, Kerry Katona and Jedward, just a few of this year's colourful selection of contestants.
