Kirsten Dunst lists her New York City loft apartment for rent

Celebrity real estate listings give us a fascinating peak into the lives of stars, from the kind of building they live in to the type of furniture they choose.

The latest star to put their home up for rent is Kirsten Dunst, whose New York City two-bedroom penthouse loft is a thing of beauty.

Situated in the shopping and dining neighbourhood of SoHo, Dunst's apartment boasts large arched windows and a stunning view of the Hudson River.

Its entrance leads into a library area with a separate powder room and the large open plan living area merges into a kitchen and dining area to seat eight people.

Dunst purchased the two-bedroom apartment in 2007 and gut-renovated it from top to bottom and adding new finishes, according to the listing. The loft is decorated with quirky antique and industrial touches, from exposed brick walls to vintage posters and furniture.

Kirsten Dunst is known for her role as Marie Antoinette in the 2006 Coppola film of the same name, and Mary-Jane Watson in the first Spider-Man film franchise. She recently starred alongside Viggo Mortensen in The Two Faces Of January and is dating actor Garrett Hedlund.

With a price-tag of £7,643 ($12,500) a month, take a peek into the home of Sofia Coppola's muse below.
