The Ab Fab movie is like that party everyone wants an invite to.
This month we learnt that Kate Moss, Joan Collins and a host of other stars are on board for appearances, cameos and parts central to the plot.
Cara Delevigne is said to play a role in a party scene, Rebel Wilson approached Jennifer Saunders in person to bag a role and even Victoria Beckham is tipped to be involved in the flick.
With the rumour mill running high, we take a look at everything we know so far about Edina (played by Saunders) and Patsy's (Joanna Lumley) next installment.
Kate Moss meets a tragic fate
Last month, Kate Moss was spotted gliding through the River Thames in a sparkly green dress with a cigarette in one hand and champagne glass in the other. What looked like the aftermath of a wild party turned out to be Moss filming her scene in the Ab Fab film.
It's thought that in the film, Moss' character goes missing during a fashion soiree, sparking fears she has been killed. Pictures of a faux shrine set up along the banks of the river in memory of her also emerged.

Stella McCartney could make a star appearance
This week the designer called on Eddy and Patsy to do the honours of turning on the Christmas lights at her store in Mayfair. The duo also presented Stella with her Brand of the Year Prize at the British Fashion Awards. So will McCartney be joining them for their next antic?
“I’m not talking… what film? I don’t know what you’re talking about!” McCartney told The Telegraph, while simultaneously "grinning and hinting that of course, the answer would be yes".

Edina and Patsy whisk off to the French Riviera
As expected the story will begin with the champagne-guzzling, chain-smoking duo in London, until they are blamed for a “major incident at an uber fashionable launch party” (this is likely where Kate Moss and Stella McCartney come in). The pair then flee to the French Riviera, without any money.

...And there they meet Joan Collins
Joan Collins filmed her part a mere couple of weeks ago at the glamorous Grand Hotel du Cap in Antibes, Cannes. She shared a pictured of in a towelling robe and yellow sunhat, with Edina and Patsy standing by her side as they read her novel The St Tropez Lonely Hearts Club.

Rebel Williams plays an air hostess
Australian stand-up comedian and actress wrote to Jennifer Saunders asking if she could be in the film. "She wrote to me and said 'can I be in it please?'" said Saunders.
This week, Williams filmed her scene and shared a snap while on set, thought she didn't divulge any details on her role. Saunders however, tweeted a snap of the pair alongside the caption "This hostess tried to check in my under eye baggage".
There are a host of other stars on board...
Saunders has previously suggested she wanted to cast everyone who had ever appeared in the show which ran for almost two decades (from 1994 to 2012) in the film and she may have kept her word.
Emma Bunton, Lulu and Dawn French are already on the list alongside a few extras such as Glee's Chris Colfer, fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier, bag designer Anya Hindmarch (who has been spotted in the background of party scenes) and interiors entrepreneur Kelly Hoppen.

Edina's a grandmother
In June, the production team opened castings for a 13-year-old, mixed-race girl to play the daughter of Saffy (Edina's daughter played by Julia Sawalha).
They told Radio Times they want someone who is “self assured and cool and naturally finds her mother embarrassing but her Granny amuses her”.
The film is the result of a bet
Early this year, Jennifer Saunders revealed that she was motivated to write the film due to a bet between her and Dawn French.
"Did I tell you that I'd had a bet with Dawn that I would have to pay her £10,000 if I didn't produce [the film] by the end of the year? We had a live radio show at the end of [last] year so I produced a first draft by [then]!… I literally vomited it out. On New Year's Eve it came out! There's some stuff I like, some stuff I've cut out. It'll be an ongoing process until it's actually finished."
She continues, "I need [a bet] or a deadline or just sheer panic. I've got all the ideas, you think of everything in your head and then you pick up a pen… or go to your computer and it just goes ‘urgh can't be bothered, I think it's funny but I can't be bothered' and then you go 'Candy Crush is calling!'"
There's less than one year to go...
The film (whatever it's called) is out in UK cinemas in July 2016. It seems the wrap-up party to celebrate the end of filming took place last night. Cheers to that, sweetie, dahling...
