Come behind the scenes of Tom Hooper's epic Les Misérables film adaptation, as he pioneers a new way of directing where every actor sings their take live.

In this video, the movie's all-star cast - including Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Eddie Redmayne - discuss what it's like singing live in front of the camera, to bring Victor Hugo's classic revolutionary novel to life.

While Jackman describes the task as "daunting", Hathaway sees it as a way of accessing the fragility of her role.
