Will our cupcake obsession ever die? Not if Sprinkles has anything to do with it. The bakery beloved of Hollywood A-listers has just revealed its latest weapon in the cupcake wars – a 24-hour cupcake dispenser.

Situated at their Beverley Hills branch, it works just like a cash machine or ATM and means those lucky enough to live in the neighbourhood can get cake on demand, at any hour of the day or night. Just imagine it...

When these candy-coloured images appeared on Sprinkles Beverley Hills' Facebook page they were tantalising enough, but then the company released further information: "This automatic cupcake machine dispenses freshly baked cupcakes, cupcake mixes, apparel and even cupcakes for Fido! In the heart of Beverly Hills nestled between Sprinkles Cupcakes and the brand new Sprinkles Ice Cream, 24 Hour Sprinkles will be continuously restocked day and night with a variety of freshly baked cupcake flavors."
