Natural History Museum's new sleepover for adults

If you watched Night at the Museum feeling nothing but envy for Ben Stiller, the Natural History Museum's new Dino Snores event is definitely not to be missed.

Normally aimed at kids, this June adults can get in on the Dino Snores fun with the launch of a new Dino Snores for Grown-Ups event kicking off on June 9.

Beginning with a delicious three-course dinner (no cheap popcorn and marshmallows here), guests will set up camp under the museum's iconic diplodocus, Dippy, before taking part in a host of activities crossing science, music, art and film.

Highlights range from the studious: life-drawing classes in the Darwin Centre and science shows revealing the sex lives of insects, to the hilarious via stand-up comedy from award-winning comedian Tom Allen, and even to the downright freaky - we're talking edible insect tasting, bedtime ghost stories and an all-night natural horror movie marathon featuring Hitchcock's The Birds, B-movie classic Frogs, and spider scare-fest Arachnophobia.

A truly unique experience, the Dino Snores for Grown-Ups event will be topped off with a hearty cooked breakfast in the morning, if, that is, you make it out.

Tickets cost £175 (£160 for members) - head to www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/ for more information and to book.
