A new study on children's behaviour has revealed that certain names could indicate whether you're naughty or nice.

The report, which surveyed 63,000 children, discovered that depending on what you are named, you might be more inclined to behave badly.

According to the survey, boys names which were proven to be the the naughtiest were Joseph, Cameron, William, Jake, Joshua, Jamie, Lewis, Benjamin, Ethan and Luke.

As for the girls, Ella, Bethany, Eleanor, Olivia, Laura, Holly, Courtney, Amber, Caitlin and Jade were all of the monikers more likely to find themselves on the naughty step.

Courteney Cox

Courtney is considered one of the naughtiest names

However, good news for those called Amy, Georgia, Emma, Charlotte, Grace, Sophie, Abigail, Hannah, Emily and Alice, as they were perceived to be the best names in terms of behaviour.

Emily Blunt

If you're called Emily, you're probably better behaved

The boys who were the best were Jacob, Daniel, Thomas, James, Adam, Harry, Samuel, Jack, Oliver and Ryan.

Carried out by School Stickers, the findings looked at the names of the school children who logged good behaviour or achievement awards in online sticker books.
