From crunchy leaves to cosy knitwear, 8 reasons why we love autumn

autumn-loves-002.jpg

Jumpers, boots, blankets, hot chocolates, baked pies, fire places, great TV - all these things herald a return to cosiness, comfort and heartiness.

There's also a welcome return - for those of us who normally do - to not shave our legs or paint our toe nails.

Here are eight illustrations that perfectly capture why we should celebrate autumn's arrival.
