Move over Bloody Marys: Bacon and chocolate shot glasses could be your new boozy brunch obsession

IMG_2941_Fotor.jpg

If you love a boozy brunch then we might just have found your new favourite treat: bacon-chocolate shot glasses have arrived. Who doesn't love crispy bacon, chocolate and booze, so what better than all three together?

Blogger Through The Eyes Of My Belly is responsible for bringing them to our attention. She has a fool-proof tutorial on how to create perfectly cripsy choco-dipped bacon cases for your shots at home.

You can get the full recipe here, which shows you how to make the crispy cases and use the chocolate coating as a barrier to ensure the brunch glasses securely hold your shots without any spillages.

"They may be a little tedious to make, and I’m still perfecting the recipe, but they are totally worth it if you’re going to a party and want to bring something fabulous!" says the writer.

The writer recommends filling them with "a nice creamy booze," once the chocolate has cooled, of course. She recommends "Kahlua and a little milk. You could even fill them with wine, because who doesn’t like wine and chocolate?"

This is the blogger's first ever post, so we watch this space for more great new food ideas.

If you love the idea of edible shots then why not try one of these recipes too?
