There's a giant four-floor gin distillery coming to London - and you can stay the night in it

We used to think London was pretty well serviced when it came to amazing food and drinks ventures. From colourful rainbow bagels to Nutella toasties and an upcoming water-only cocktail bar, we thought the capital had us covered.

Until now.

The infamous Portobello Road Gin has announced plans to open a giant, four-floor gin distillery that visitors can actually sleep in later this year, jam-packed with all kinds of features sure to whet the appetite of gin fans across the world.

Housing a traditional gin bar, a gin museum, a specialist shop, a 'Gintonic' restaurant, a real-life distillery and a handful of boutique hotel rooms, this will be London's first ever distillery that guests can spend the night in.

It will even be the home of Portobello Road Gin's "Ginstitute", a gloriously gin-centric centre that gives guests the opportunity to blend their own gins and make unique cocktails.

The distillery-slash-hotel, appropriately named The Distillery, will open on Portobello Road this November: watch this space.
