Behold the world's smallest edible breakfast cooked in a fully functional tiny kitchen

mini-breakfast.jpg

In our daily quest to bring you breaking news, hot new openings and the most important fashion stories, we uncover some unusual things.

And sometimes those things are just so unusual, so leftfield and downright brilliant, we know we have to share them with you.

This story is a case in point.

The following video of a man cooking a real, edible breakfast in a very tiny kitchen ticks so many boxes for us. Amazing use of small space? Yep. Surprisingly appetising looking meal? Absolutely. Ingenious invention that we wish we'd thought of first? Hell yeah.

It seems YouTube user AAAjoken is trying to prove that Japanese company Bandai's mini kitchen toys are so realistic, you can actually cook a meal on it.

The creative individual used either a lighter or tealight candle to bring the stove to life and cook the smallest portion of brekkie we've ever seen.

Miniature breakfast

Using a tiny quail egg, miniature sausage, a few drops of olive oil, some milk tea powder and water, as well as a miniscule frying pan, saucepan and spoon he whips up a meal of scrambled eggs, sausages and coffee fit for a couple of Borrowers.

Watch a real mini breakfast being made in a real mini kitchen below.
