How to score a Michelin-starred meal for as little as £16.50

cheapest michelin meals the elephant torquay.jpg

Michelin-starred experiences are lovely treats, but when you factor in tasting menus, matching wines, aperitifs and postprandial sips, your gastronomic evening out can result in a rather painful ‘Are you sure this is our bill?’ moment.

However, there is a way to dine high-end for a fraction of the usual cost, and it’s simple: book in for a set lunch.

Several incredible restaurants offer daytime deals for the same quality cuisine at a much lower price. While the choice might be a little more limited, it’s often full of dishes you’d find on the dinner menu and there are usually options for two or three courses.
