Here at Stylist we’re obsessed with food - eating it, making it, talking about it… we’ve dedicated a whole month to it for goodness sake! So it’s always great to see someone else indulging in a food-related passion too.
Australian art director and stylist Sonia Rentsch has turned her lust for prop styling into a series of quirky still-life set pieces entitled Dinner Etiquette.

The series of images photographed by Scott Newett, feature everyday utensils – cutlery, napkins, glasses, plates etc – styled on the table to look like refined dinner party attire, inspired by the likes of Mad Men and The Great Gatsby.

We think it brings a whole new meaning to the idea of dressing the table for dinner.
Prints from the Dinner Etiquette series are available to buy and you can see more of Sonia’s work here.
