Five course dessert menu experience coming to London

Londoners with a sweet tooth are about to get the experience of a lifetime.

A five-course dessert only menu is set to launch in the capital in April, promising a feast of original and unique desserts.

'A Month of Sundaes' is the brainchild of Australian pastry chef and chocolatier Terri Mercieca who will be cooking the sweet meals for four nights only in April at Pond Dalston.

The menu will be inspired by Mercieca's world travels, springtime and (of course) a little trashy dessert fun.

"I am dedicated to creating pastries and chocolates that combine innovation with tradition...I like to make indulgent food that engages all the senses," says the chef.

After the success of a similar dessert-only night in November, Mercieca is bringing the event back for Easter.

"We won’t kill you with too much sugar or heavy puddings. Expect a well thought out and perfectly balanced evening of deliciousness," reads the event description.

Tickets for the event on every Sunday in April (5, 12,19 and 25) cost £40 for the full menu and aperitif cocktail, and £55 for additional wine pairings with every course (Book at designmynight.com). There will also be a cocktail bar and jazz music to set the scene.
