The gin train is rolling into London – and we choo-choo-choose to clamber aboard as soon as humanly possible.

For just one week this summer, The Laverstoke Express promises plenty of booze, culinary delight and mother’s ruin-fuelled revelry, as well as an incredible ‘journey’ unlike any other.

Well, sort of, anyway. Your wanderlust will be sated with a 10-stop round-the-world ‘journey’, as this train simulator whisks you off on a whirlwind tour of the homes of the botanicals that give the gin its unique flavour.

Think Java, Morocco, Ghana, Tuscany and more.

“I’m so excited to work with Bombay Sapphire’s The Grand Journey,” he said, “as creatively I can draw upon the illustrious history of gin – which incidentally, is my favourite drink – and also create dishes that focus on the key botanical ingredients that make up Bombay Sapphire’s unique flavour profile.
