Once upon a time gluten-free food was limited and hard to come by, with specialist brands and one-off health food shops doing much of the footwork for coeliac sufferers and others.

Happily, those days are behind us and major supermarkets are now suffuse with good quality, gluten-free options. Not only that, but the world of gluten-free cuisine has imploded online, with food bloggers from around the world racing to share their own creative gluten-free alternatives to dishes such as brownies, lasagne, cheesecake and pizza.

Unsurprisingly, Pinterest is one of the best places for inspiration, throwing open the world of gluten-free grub in all its delicious variety. We've picked some of the best, most hunger-inducing no-gluten photos and recipes from the site, below. Got your own suggestions? Scroll down to let us know in the comments section.
