11 hearty sandwich recipes that are better than a full Sunday Roast

When was the last time you sat down to a full Sunday Roast? According to new research, we’re all now twice as likely to tuck into a humble sandwich on a Sunday afternoon, than whip up a roast dinner with all the trimmings.

In fact, over a quarter of people revealed in the survey that a good old sarnie is their Sunday lunch of choice.

So, to make sure that none of us are scrimping unnecessarily on fillings, we’ve rounded up a batch of impressively hearty sandwich recipes, all packing irresistible bite.
