What will you request when someone calls for the next tea round? Will it be your usual black or green tea? Or how about one of the exotic creations below?

A new infographic shows how to spruce up your beverage by mapping out the ingredients of famous teas from around the world, from a standard Earl Grey to Moroccan Mint Tea.

It also includes teas that you may not have tried such as a rich Tibetan Butter Tea and Karak Chai from the Middle East.

The illustrated diagram shows the correct serving vessels for each recipe, for example, the floral-printed bone china of Britain, India's ornate brass sets and the Chinese Yixing clay teapot, which was first invented during the Song Dynasty.

The company behind the infographic, Sweetooth Design Company, spent two months researching traditional tea recipes where some date back to 4,000 years ago. The full breadth of their findings can be read on their website.

A poster form of the infographic is currently being funded on Kickstarter and are available for £15.46 ($25).
